pc to macpro switch - version questions

Hi all,

Thanks in advance for your patience with this, but I'm getting a bit confused as I switch from PC to a new Mac Pro. I'm trying to avoid further cash outlay... but I'm getting that sinking feeling. It's all worked so well on the PC, but I need to go mobile... your help is appreciated.

1. I have PT v.7.0 with an 002r. While it seems fairly conclusive from the Digi site that 7.0 won't work with OSX 10.5.5, what version do I need that will still work with my Waves? They seem to suggest that 7.4.2 "might" work. Any experiences? Would 7.0 work?
2. I use Waves Gold v.5.3. I'm assuming this will still work with 7.4.2. Yes?
3. Can I just move my iLok over? Or do I have to start again with the various Waves authorizations?

Just to put a nail in the coffin, PT 7.0 will absolutely not work with 10.5.5.

I just moved my iLok over when I switched from a PC to a Mac Pro in January. I ran 7.3 through boot camp for a bit and then bought 8.0 and ran it on Leopard ever since.

Were/are you using Waves? Does your iLok work with Mac and PC now?

I'm hoping PT7.4.2 will work with 10.5.5 so I don't have to upgrade my Waves now too... The Waves site claims that 5.x will work with 7.4. I haven't found info on the iLok thing, though.

Anyone else? 7.4.2 on OSX 10.5.5? Same iLok for both platforms?
