Hi Ryan, actually no, I have not seen this happen but then again there is not much I am doing with the touch function, maybe some occasional selection of the tabs in the row and then there are the shut down and lock buttons I sometimes use. Maybe some occasional plugin selecting too but no riding faders or knobs if that might be something you have in mind.

I'm like you. Have not seen it, but also don't use the touch much. I think my fingers are to big.

On my Lenovo T2364t touch sometimes stop working and comes back after a few seconds. It looks like a windows/usb driver thing…

I just picked up a second S3L and topped out my system to 4 stage boxes. I love this console, and the things that make the surface foreign to some engineers don't bother me as much, as I'm a mouse guy. That being said, there are some things that would make my life easier:

Pitch Shift - I still see no qualified plug in for AAX VENUE

4 plug in inserts like the v3 software, it sucks having to route things to groups just to add a third plug in insert

User assigned keys that can be programmed to select and AFL an Aux bus mix/pair of linked mixes. This would make it MUCH easier for a Monitor Engineer to single click to solo each artist's monitor mixes. If anyone knows how to do this with the existing software, please share.

I'm sure there will eventually be an iPad app that doesn't involve VNC, I don't care about Waves any more, I've swapped over to McDSP.

v5 software and a second USB monitor could open up universe mode, and would be awesome.

I'm going to be touring Europe in May in support of one of the biggest international acts, and am going to be plopping my little S3L down beside whatever Airbus 380 control surface console they have out. It's going to be awesome!

Ryan, I'd love to work with you guys to make this board better. My email is my username at gmail.com

Cheers!

Yesterday I got an email from my distributor inviting me to an s6l training, the interesting part is that at the end of the email they said they will talk about new features on the highly anticipated S3L-X update. So it looks its finally coming! This is gonna be on may 4th, shame I won't be able to attend.

I'd be glad if there is something good coming, and not just a bandaid. We will see.
