HDX avid chassis drivers not installing Mojave 10.14.6 solved
I just moved my system (using migration assistant) from a poor 2017 MacBook Pro to a great 2018 one.
After much fruitless messing about, reinstalling the system, much installing/ uninstalling of hd and Protools etc etc, I discovered that the security and privacy features were preventing the drivers from installing. This is interesting, as there is a comment on the readme for the uninstaller that it triggers the security warning; but it seems the installer doesn’t - and then has a blanket refusal by the OS. If you have the same problem - I think you can solve it by installing the driver, going to system preferences security and privacy, allowing the drivers, and doing it again. Something like that worked for me, anyway. |
