Virtual Instruments available to 10.3.6 and 11?

Windows 7 64bit SP1, i7-2640M 2.8ghz, 8gb RAM

Uninstalled 10.3.5 and everything else AVID. Restart.
Installed 10.3.6, 11.0, Air Creative Collection, Updated my hardware drivers. Tried to install the Avid_Virtual_Instruments_10_Installer_73466 but the installer says that there is a newer version installed and that I would need to uninstall the newer to install the older. Restart.

Launched 10, went through initialization of plugins. Everything looks ok, but went to load a few of the virtual instruments and find they are not there.

Launched 11, had a strange crash... like the app didn't even get passed the PT11 splash screen. Relaunched, went through plugin initialization, all looks good and the new versions of mini grand, structure, etc. are all available.

I read that version 10.3.6 is available for a few workarounds... features that are not yet available in v11.0. I had hoped I would be able to work in 10 exclusively and try out 11 as the bugs and features get worked out, but not having the instruments is a bummer. Should I have installed the v10 instruments before installing Pro Tools 11?

I have the same issue and have had for awhile. When i try to install the Virtual Instruments 10 installer, it says there is already a newer version installed.

Did you find a solution for this ??
