Default nubee- Which firewire cable do I use for Macbook Pro 2011

alright last nubee question, I promise. I see alot of different suggestions, but alot of the advise is for the older mac.

I have the new macbook pro and want to run the digi rack 002 on standalone mode.

Which firewire cable should I buy to get this puppy goin. Macbook Pro 10.6.7 os to the digi rack 002

400-800? Pins? Hub?

Thanks Guys,

It's been my experience that you need a 800 to 400 cable. The 800 goes to the mac, the 400 to the interface.. Make sure the interface has the thin oval looking 400 input. If you want to use an external drive I use a powered firewire 400 hub. Never any problems. I am using profire 2626 though. Two of them linked optically and two external drives.
