Pro Tools 10 and Akai LPK25 Issue

Hello All, I'm a new Pro Tools user but have been using Logic and Ableton Live for years. Here is my issue... Yesterday I decided to try out the V-Control for my iPad to control Pro Tools which works great by the way, the problem is that before I set up the V-Control on my MIDI preferences my Akai LPK25 was working perfectly inside Pro Tools but after the set up of the V-Control my Akai LPK25 keyboard controller does not work anymore . I tried the controller on my other DAWs (Live and Logic) and it works fine.
Something happened when I set up the V-Control that disconfigured my Akai LPK25 keyboard controller. I tried to change the MIDI setting on Pro Tools to the best of my ability to make the LPK25 work again but no luck . Please HELP!!!! I'm getting really frustrated and I'm starting to feel that maybe jumping into Pro Tools was not such a good idea after all.
