EVERYBODY used one for the kick and one for the whole set. I'm sure that's what Glyn was taught exactly as I was.

I thought it was pretty obvious, bearing in mind that the guy only has two inputs available, and that I was suggesting augmenting the kick and snare with samples, that I was only talking about using the overheads in the Glyn Johns configuration to capture the live kit.
