12.6 released!!!

Keep in mind, you will need the new ilok licenses to run 12.6. It will require a surrender of old licenses. Do this first to prevent down-time.

Disappointed to say the least that...

1.) Not Sierra compatible
2.) Core Audio still broken
3.) No new features that interest me.

Makes my recent $399 for HD and $99 for PT Edu vanilla yearly fee look like one big money flush right down the toilet.

I hope stability is improved. We'll see.

I thought 12.6 was Sierra compatible........

Playlist features are nice...and the Fades tool is cool.....however I agree with the video that it should have been a click and drag.... 1 step instead of a click and then click again 2. step.....
but hey it looks usable and helpful for sure.

I got my licenses yesterday as well.....in ilok Manager, at least they were there when I went to retrieve another code.....for another plug

Great no iLok licenses in my account even though I'm paid up long ago rendering my Pro Tools useless. Avid!!!! ahaaaaaaaaaa!!! This is so amateur hour the way you make you customers jump through hoops just to get working software.

Adobe doesn't do this.
Apple doesn't do this.
XL Audio doesn't do this.
ToonTrack doesn't do this.

Ok Microsoft makes it hard, but they're Microsoft.

Yes the STABILITY is the main thing .., that & Core Audio are my only main concerns really .

I also need to check with SLATE to make sure Pro Tools 12.6 is going to work with my Slate - RAVEN

The new license comes available to your iLok account, and once you move it to the license key, it asks your permission to delete (surrender) the old license.
