RSN3.0 & PT7.3 play but don\'t connect!

Hello,

I just picked up a new Mac Pro and have been installing program after program, update after update....

Here's my problem:

Pro Tools and Reason play all the tracks perfectly by themselves but will not connect through REWIRE. It should happen upon selecting reason as a plug-in but for some reason(I hate puns) it wont. After opening Pro Tools and then clicking Reason an error says to re-install reason.

What am I missing?
