1394 light on my Digi 002 Rack blinks and locks up

I'm having some frustration with my Digi 002 Rack. When I launch PTs, the 1394 light flashes at the point when my screen says DAE Loaded. At that point my system locks up until I shut down ProTools. It started intermittently last week and now it happens every time. I'm making a lot of progress lately on my writing and recording, so this has been really frustrating for me. Do you have any advise as to how I can get past this? Thanks a lot for all of your help.
