Quicktime delay with CoreAudio 8.0.3 & 10.6.2?
h'lo all,
I'm trying to find out if anyone (everyone) else is experiencing this problem with this config., or if it's just my system. I've installed PTools LE 8.0.3 - and it's Core Audio plugin - on my MacPro, running OS 10.6.2. All's good, except that whenever I run a QT movie - either QT Player X or QT Player 7, there's a significant (2-3 sec.) delay before the movie/audio begins to play. This happens whether I run the .mov from the desktop, from within a PTools LE session, or from within a Digital Performer 7.1 sequence. I'm pretty sure that the problem is a conflict between CoreAudio 8.0.3 and OS 10.6.2, but wonder if any of the rest of you are experiencing this? many thanks, b myers, composer
