2023.9 - Edit Cursor Screen Artifacts When Selecting a Clip
When I select an audio clip, if the edit cursor's blink state is on when that selection is made then pro tools will leave a visual artifact at the edit cursor's previous location. This artifact will remain onscreen and locked to its relative position in the edit window until the clip selection is cancelled.
If you make a clip selection when the edit cursor's blink state is off, then artifact will not happen. Screen video is linked here showing the problem: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/hoz9r...9nsmrn78g&dl=0 Pro Tools Ultimate 2023.9 - Silicon Mode OS 12.6.7 MacBook Pro M1Max 16" |

Yep, happening on my Intel Mac Pro, too. Annoying, because it makes you think that you've separated the region, when you haven't.

Interesting, I cannot recreate it. I've selected all tracks, highlighted and moved the time line back and forth. Nothing...
Did you try trashing prefs?

Yes, happening for me too - M1 Max, Monterey, native mode, and it wasn't happening in 2023.6. Thinking about reverting to 2023.6... gonna wait and see just how annoying it is, because I like the new plugin ordering thingy.

Re: 2023.9 - Edit Cursor Screen Artifacts When Selecting a Clip
I’ll file a ticket for this one. Seems reproducible. In my case it’s pretty distracting when doing a lot of editing so I’ll need to roll back until this is fixed.
