S3L-X Word clock problem

Currently in South America with a S3L-X and having a word clock issue. An external word clock is showing up in the devices area, although no external unit is connected ( the symbol stayed greyed out in the past). This seems to cause following issues:
- internal intros, tracks ( from usb stick) stored with scenes play at wrong speed
- console is not producing aes/ebu ( i.e. a Lake processor shows 48khz, but does not lock in)
- distortion
Clicking RESET ENGINE I/O on engine symbol seems to help temporarily, but as soon the console is started again, ext word clock symbol shows up in external devices field again.
Also shows EXT in mode above SHOW in the lower right corner.
To my knowledge, there is no dedicated word clock menu or area, where to set this, as venue consoles produce 48k standard.

External wordclock, if looking valid, is selected automatically and you can't influence that. I.e no options to suppress. Suggest contacting VENUE support.
