? Who are you replying to ?

? included where ?

Since there are no AIR plugins actually included in the Pro Tools installer your answer kinda does not help, the question is, as it always was, is to get the correct installer (which happens to be the latest installer: 2023.5 AIR Effects installer as already noted/expanded on/clarified by others).

Let me clarify my statement. I'm not saying that the current AIR plugins are not Apple Silicon compatible. I am saying that one should not assume any plugin (by any manufacturer) is Apple Silicon compatible just because other manufacturers' plugins (or most other manufacturers' plugins) are already compatible. This is especially true if the plugin versions are not the latest available. Sorry if I confused some people.

But clearly 2023.9 defaults to apple silicon native as I said, and this is the root of your problem.

Did you try to search for any of the information on this I mentioned?

If you looked at the 2022.2 plugins you installed with PT Prefs you would see they are Intel only, reinstalling them multiple times is not going to change that. 2022.2 is almost a year ahead of any Pro Tools beta support for Apple Silicon, so they would never be candidates for that.

So, yes clearly you don't have the latest plugin installers. You need "AIR Effects Bundle 2023.5 Mac (DMG) 265.38 MB" which should be in your Avid Account "My Products" section.

My spreadsheet has (messy but seemingly most accurate) info on plugins and installers: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...Agi3ENOBs/edit

You should be better prepared before doing a major upgrade like this, including checking if all your third party plugins are available in Apple silicon native or not, and have obtained those installers or decide to run under Rosetta.
ok thx found it - you have to scroll down to find it whicj is kinda weird but anyway..

Hello guys! I also want to share this KB as well which can be a good reference for Silicon Native compatible plugins.

Glad you found it. Yes if you have never gone fishing by scrolling down stuff may not be obvious.

Make sure you check all your third party plugins, and play with PT Prefs so you know how to use that to check if plugins support Apple silicon or not.
