Mbox driver update (to run on Mac 10.7.5 Lion) question
I have just loaded Pro Tools 9.0.5 on my MacAir 10.7.5 (Lion). I have also loaded Mbox Pro (Package 1.0.8) on same computer.
My question is: To update my Mbox driver, do I download Mbox driver 1.0.14 and then download 1.0.16 and then 1.1.2? OR…does driver 1.1.2 contain all that's in 1.0.14 and 1.0.16? (so therefore I would only download driver 1.1.2). [See http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/d...ox-Pro-Drivers ] Hope someone is able to advise. With thanks, Ronnoco

Re: Mbox driver update (to run on Mac 10.7.5 Lion) question
You should be able to go directly to 1.2.2. 1.3+ all are "Mavericks support only".

Re: Mbox driver update (to run on Mac 10.7.5 Lion) question
Thanks Joel. Still not sure if that means the stuff that's in the earlier updates is also in the latest one I mentioned. Yes, I 'should be able to directly to 1.2.2', i.e. I'm sure it would download fine, but would it contain the stuff that's in the earlier ones?

Re: Mbox driver update (to run on Mac 10.7.5 Lion) question
Thank you Bruce (and Joel). Latest is: I've downloaded the Mbox update and was ready to launch Pro Tools (for first time on this computer, Mac Air 10.7.5) to find that there is NO input (for the lead from Mbox interface) of the correct size on the Mac Air. The following describes the situation:
http://sound.stackexchange.com/quest...cbook-air-help Oh boy. If anyone knows of a way around it, very glad to hear. I need to record 'out in the field', so need a light computer for that. Ps. In case useful info: At the Apple 'Genius Bar' I've been told I CAN downgrade my larger computer (iMac Maverick) back to iMac 10.6.8 (& they will assist), which means I can run Pro Tools 9 &/or 9.0.5 on that. In fact, I can have two sections on the iMac: one being Maverick and the other 10.6.8 (and run Pro Tools from that one but still have the advantage of Maverick for other things).

Re: Mbox driver update (to run on Mac 10.7.5 Lion) question
Solution! The shop I bought Pro Tools & Mbox from just advised me to purchase a Firewire to Thunderbolt cable (so I can plug Mbox into Mac Air). Phew.

Re: Mbox driver update (to run on Mac 10.7.5 Lion) question
Have launched Protools 9.0.5 on my MacAir 10.7.5. after upgrading the MBox Pro to 1.0.14 (apparently this is correct one). All is plugged in correctly and opened in correct order (computer turned on last). And the mains power is plugged in to computer.
My query is: I cannot get any sound through headphones plugged in to the MBox to, e.g. listen to the Demo Sessions. Nor can I get any response on Protools when making sound into microphone plugged in to MBox. Does this mean my computer is not recognising the MBox (interface)? Thank you in advance.

When you open the Mbox control panel, does it see that the Mbox is connected and streaming?
