Default creating loop points for the NN-XT???????

Im trying to make the tail end of a sample loop infinitely. Doing this with Reason's NN-XT alone is very difficult. So I brought the audio sample into pro tools and found the perfect looping point at the zero crossings but i cannot figure out for the life of me how to set these loop points so that when I re-import the audio file into the NN-XT it identifies the loop points

Like many samplers the NN-XT does in fact have this capability. HOW ON EARTH do you do this in Pro Tools???????????????

You should ask around the propellerheads.se forums.
Will be alot more seasoned reson users there, than here. I imagine most of the proTools le guys who own Reason, only have the Adapter version, and it didn`t come with a helluva lot of guides.

But atleast I gave your post a bump

thanks Snarf....

Problem is I read the Reason manual and there is nothing on the topic. Also setting loop points on a sample, and then importating that sample with the identified loop points not only works for Reason's sampler the NN-XT but for a ton of other sampler plugins as well...so this question is not entirely specific to just reason.

I did however post he question on reasonstation.net and apparently Wavelab does this quite easily, as quoted from a user there:

"...you highlight a section of the waveform, right click and choose "create loop region from section". Then when you save the sample and import it into the NNXT on FW Loop mode, it picks up on the loop region and will loop for infinity as long as the note is sustained.

Sooooo....I have to assume that there must be a way to do this in Pro Tools as well...

(i did take the time to read the PT manual searching for markers but nothing seemed to hint at this.)
