Hey, Felipe! What is the "viewing angle range" of the Acer?

Did the Apple screen die, or were you not happy with it?

Are the Apple screens "glossy" (do you see your reflection in them) or "matte" (no reflection)? The Apples look "sexy".

I,too, have a Mackie HUI. It may be 14 years old, but as it is so well built, it still works perfectly. Screens are 23" Dells.

I had the old aluminum apple cinema displays not the new ones.

There was nothing actually wrong with the displays. It was the pesky displayport standard on my graphics card. I ended up remoting my computer. Displayport is sometimes a challenge to extend. Long story short. signal just wasn't getting to one display. I ended up just buying new displays.

My only compliant about the dells are viewing angel.

Can't tell how wide is it, but at least works fine from my mixing position, I can adjust a mic (it's a home studio) and/or a premap setting and still having a great view of the screen.

I am concerned about viewing angle too.

What about "glossy" vs "matte", with the Apple screens?

Matte is a must for me. I have sun light the comes in my office that would it very difficult to view a image. I think that is more important the view angel.

View angel on the dells suffers at extreme angels where my old apples didn't. It took me a little more time to setup but I'm ok with it now.

Another added bonus is I have a ton of input options with dells. I can actually also completely turn off the displays at night. Not something that was possible with the apple displays.

I have a glossy screen on my iMac and it's a royal pain if there's light coming from in back of me towards the screen. Way too much reflection - could use it as a mirror. Wonder if there's some way to retrofit it to a matte screen since the actual thing we look at is just a glass piece and not the actual screen itself.
