Frequency Analysis plugins.. what do you use?
Right now I'm in the market for a fequency analysis plugin... something similar to the Waves PAZ in terms of what it does, yet, am curious what others of you use or would recommend. Is there something with more robust features?

Re: Frequency Analysis plugins.. what do you use?
Well, I do agree with ears being the first tool... but say I wanted to see a visual representation of some sort in addition to using my ears.

So Mark,
When will you be packaging those into some kind of plug-in suite a la Roger Nichols?

That's actually a pretty cool looking package Eric, InspectorXL that is. Probably more than I'd ever need hah, but that's a cool lookin' toolset. Thanks for indirectly linking me to that
Ears are still number 1 though EDIT: Just realized they have a free download of the Inspector regular... that's about all I needed. Thanks Eric! |

No Problem. I'll take any chance I can get to help out and tease Mark at the same time.
Hey Mark, how is your "wow and flutter" tape problem going?

Re: Frequency Analysis plugins.. what do you use?
The MDW EQ has the Isopeak feature. This is a temporary narrow Q boost just to find the problem frequency. I like it because when you look at a spectrum graph, its sometimes hard to tell which node is really the problem. With Isopeak it is painfully obvious.
