StRaNgE Dual Monitor Problem
I recently built a new DAW for myself. Only this weekend however have I started using dual monitors on this machine. I have an ATI 9200SE using a DVI to VGA adapter for my 2nd monitor. With both monitors plugged into the video card my PC won't start up. It never even initializes the monitors. Just sits there with the hard drive LED burning constant. I can then turn the machine off and unplug my second monitor and it starts up fine. After WindowsXP starts up, I can then plug the 2nd monitor in and it works fine. After shutting down the machine, I have the same problem all over.
Just wandering if anyone else had seen this problem and what you've done, if anything, to remedy this problem. Thought I'd better throw in my motherboard type: Asus K8V Deluxe

Re: StRaNgE Dual Monitor Problem
Do you have the ATI Hydravision drivers/software installed? I am not very versed in the dual monitor setup (yet), but that seems like a place to start.
