Default Should I just re-install Reason

I had Reason running on my G3 , no problem's , now I've transferred it to my G4 it , work's then it doesn't work , I have been through the DUC looking at all the previous conversation's and followed the instructions about asio driver's which I had already downloaded from propellerheads but they gave me v.5.0 , is this an issue as the Digi INIT and Digi Direct I/O in my system extension's is v.5.1, can anyone help !

Ok , I have managed to run reason on myG4 through the Digi 001 , and it works fine then I switch it off come back to it and it says 'sound driver problem , the sound driver used last time could not be selected , and when I go into preferences the direct I/O option has a big red cross beside it , any ideas?

Hiya ckerian , first you'll have to excuse my ignorance in re-posting my message a few times as I've been going back and forward through this mysterious thing we call DUC .Anyway the answer to your question is yes , it's in my ASIO drivers folder now as ASIO DigiDesign DirectIO

hmm... yeah you may want to reinstall. you do have the correct driver. also make sure that your sound control panel is set to built in and not digi
