Elastic Audio Pitch Shift Not Working

I select a clip - I turn on Elastic Audio in Polyphonic mode - I open Elastic Properties - I type in -2 in pitch shift - nothing happens. It just resets itself to 0. I've watched multiple videos and I'm following each step. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?

I'm currently on the new update, but I've never been able to get this to work. I always end up having to use Serato Pitch n Time... figured today was the day for me to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

When turning EA on, open task manager to view the process.
Once the process is finished your pitch and time elastic audio will work.
If not the greater detail on you system may be needed.
Check your session drive record/playback status.

Note that tick/midi or timebase will respond differently.

It doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong from what you've said. Tried trashing preferences? Or maybe a clean install. Sometimes Elastic does weird things that only seem to happen on one machine. (I had one where I had to keep pressing "save" before it would analyse the audio, no one else seemed to have the problem. I had to get an Avid guy to take over my computer and trash a load of files that were goodness knows where.)

Yeah for some reason it just isn't working for me. Tasks done.. clean install.. I'm actually on a temporary machine while mine gets fixed and it does it on this one too. Both machines, same problem.

I submitted a ticket with Avid so we'll see if they can help.

Hmmmm, it seems fine here(just tested in both Ticks and Samples).
