Eleven Rack / PT10 not reccording

I just received my PT10 with Eleven Rack, and I can't figure out how to reccord a track with my guitar...I've read the section in the manual 5 times, got the latest eleven rack driver from Avid, yet nothing. I can control the eleven rack via my mac just fine, but when it comes to reccording a track, it tells me I have no valid imput or output and therefore I can't rec enable the track...
The track does states inpurt as "eleven rack" and output sterreo L/R.
I only have a guitar amp plugged into the eleven rack, and computer speakers out of my macbook. I thought I could at least lay down some tracks but it just won't let me (keeps on telling me the above stated error)

Edit: after re-starting a few time, It will let me rec enable the track, except when I press rec and play and play on the guitar, nothing is reccording on that track, it's a flat line....

Hi,

Now you have it working as an interface it sounds like you haven't got the right input assigned to the audio track. In the hardware setup page have you assigned all the inputs for the Eleven rack and in the I/O setup page have you created inputs for the rack. Once you have done the 2 above steps then all your inputs for the rack should come up on the inputs menu on the audio track, so make sure you have selected the right input that your guitar is plugged into.

I was able to reccord a track...except now I can't listen to it...shouldn't I be able to listen to what I just reccorded through my guitar amp? I tried pluging the amp to the back of the rack and the front but nothing...
