Advice on Firewire Express card for SC48
Folks,
I have searched the forum o this and can't seem to find what I need. I have a Dell XPS 16 (model 1647). And I have just acquired a Venue SC48 console. I have installed PT9 (and updated to 9.0.3) and am getting BSOD. I am using the built firewire port (Ricoh chipset). I have tried reinstalling PT9 etc and the same problem. It works for maybe 3 minutes, then crashes. I was thinking I need a better Firewire card using an ExpressCard Firewire card. Can anyone recommend a solution or a compatible ExpressCard to purchase. PS I am new to Pro Tools. Thanks TS |
