Depends on which plugins you have in your collection.
I guess if you don't own any plugins beside the ones that come free with protools, your only option would be Structure free.

Greetings Machino,

You can actually use those loops (and other REX files) directly in the Edit window, no plugin needed. You can cut them up, time stretch them, and process them with Audiosuite.

Otherwise, yes, Structure Free, Transfuser, or Stylus RMX will work for playing back and manipulating loops.

Hope that helps,

NIKO

Thanks for you replies.

I tried loading them up in structure free, however when i alter the pitch/key, it also alters the tempo and vice versa. I guess what i want to do is being able to quickly browse trough the loops, and have them adjust to the tempo and key of the track i'm working with. (Like when you browse loops in Logic Pro). Is this possible?

Use the Workspace browser and have it set so that auditioning conforms to the session tempo..

Don't forget Structure FREE does not offer REX support so the files are coming in as audio only.
