Default Need simple, cheap but good replacement for D-Verb

I've found dozens of reverbs for LE7 on the net, some hugely expensive, some way too complicated for my tiny brain. Can anyone suggest something that's as easy to use as dverb but doesn't cost much and sounds good - or at least reasonable?!
Thanks
Tom

HI,

if you can live with AudioSuite check this:
http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.p...rt=&PHPSESSID=
hundreds of of free Impulse responses available.

Besides that TL SPACE Navtive licences go for appr. $150 at ebay.

Thanks - I had a look and was somewhat swamped by all the options and tech jargon! I should say I'm a musician who normally engages pro studios for recording. I only use protools for demos and 'charity gigs' - but I'd like them to be as good as possible. Which would be best for the likes of me, do you think?

HI,

Jk_irr is really easy to use, just load the impulse response you like adjust the two parameters
and let it process. But it may take some time to preview all these impulses.
You just need to to d/l the impulses provided by the links.

And as I said it won´t get any cheaper than this.

Gosh these tech jockeys assume we all know so much... I've downloded something called jk_irr_01.sit, but I haven't got a clue what to do with it! Thanks for your help anyway :-(

I use a Lexicon MPX500 for reverbs and use the SP/DIF I/O. While there's a slight delay, it's fine on reverb. They sell on eBay for $175-$200 and you've got a full blown FX processor that does excellent reverbs as well as delays, chorus, flanging, etc. Also takes a load off your processor to do other things.

Take a look at WaveArts. They make great plugins that are top-notch quality and very affordable. MasterVerb (click this link), is a great replacement for D-Verb. Don't be intimidated by all the knobs and buttons, you can always stick to the presets. Good luck.

Touché! Hmm - it seems my stuffit was playing up.. Normally it unstuffs automatically, but it was launching photoshop when I tried to unstuff (!), so I'd assumed it required some deed greatly more cunning. Fixed it now though. Will install tomorrow and explore.
Thanks again
Tom
