+1 Me too. With MIDI automation, therefore tick-based. Cannot remember which versions, but I've experienced this way before 12.8/12.8.1

Sometimes works when I create breakpoints before the beginning of the automation. Very annoying/time consuming. Will try the suggestion to change to sample-based. BUT THIS SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENING!! Don't understand what's wrong with Avid in recent times...Love PT, but they're not pulling their weight.

Yes, if track is sample based it won¨t happen. Bug is still around in version 12.8.2!!!!

I've had these prior to 12.8.1. Don't remember, but I may have posted something about this. (I've definitely seen a few posts about this bug).Totally unreliable panning automation. Seems to behave itself when I add automation points a bar or so before the actual automation.
