Bug in PT10 opening large sessions?
A bug?
I have an old large ptf session. If I open it on a PT10HD system all tracks show up. If I open it on a standard PT10 system it misses off the vocal tracks and few other things at the end. Like it doesn't have enough voices, but forgets that you want to see them/show them as inactive. No message to say you've run out of voices/there's too many tracks PT will deactivate some. Anyone else seen this? I've done the 10.2 update and it didn't make any difference. Just to prove a point I downloaded the demo HD license and put it on the standard system that was missing off the tracks and suddenly it shows them as expected/as the HD system does! The standard system uses a Mbox 3, but I unplugged and tried it on internal sound. Same problem. Trashing prefs did nothing. Very odd... Sorted while the HD demo is still valid. |

Re: Bug in PT10 opening large sessions?
Duplicate your session in the finder command D. Open the copy then import the missing tracks via import session data for your original session, see if that works.

Re: Bug in PT10 opening large sessions?
I read somewhere else on the forum that this what you experience is a new PT 10 feature.
