Hello everyone.

I installed the trial version of pro tools 10 downloaded from the Avid site. I installed the pro tools 10 software (I have not installed digidesign drivers) but I can not get pro tools working with my ensemble interface. The apogee interface is installed and operates in standalone mode.

I'm waiting for my recently bought pro tools 10 (crossgrade) but I wanted to install the trial to test it.

Does pro tools 10 trial limited some functions? is Ensemble interface not compatible with pro tools 10?
Will I have this problem with my crossgrade version recorded?

I hope someone can help me!

Does the Ensemble show up as a selection under the Playback Engine?

Ugh...I have an Ensemble also and it's working under 9. Very sorry to hear this!

it makes no sense. I can not find info on the web about the specifications of the trial version. I hope this is a limitation of the trial version.

It may be that you need to download a newer driver for the Ensemble from the Apogee site. It looks like they have a new one that's Lion compatible and comes with Maestro v.2. Even if you're not yet on Lion, this new driver may be needed. You may want to contact Apogee and double check.

Hi, I have instaled the last apogee ensemble drivers, maestro v2 and the new firmware too. My OSX leopard 10.6.8 no LION, this could be the problem maybe.

Problem solved. Was as simple as watching the playback engine and selecting ensemble here. I am a donkey :)
