Default Trouble recording Guitar Rig 3 foot pedel movements

Sort of a newbie question:
I just installed Native Instruments Guitar Rig 3 with the Rig Kontrol 3 footboard. I'm having trouble getting Pro Tools LE 7.4 to simulaneously record the guitar audio and movements of anything on the Rig Kontrol - like wah pedel movements.
I'm recording the guitar on a mono audio track with Guitar Rig as a plug in.
Routing is: guitar into my Mbox 2 pro input 1. The Rig Kontrol pedel connects via USB 2 straight into the PC.
During record, I can hear the changes being made with the wah pedel but on playback they're not there.
I'm wondering if there's a way to imbed the control info (wah pedel moves) into the audio track.
Any help appreciated.
