Default How Well Does HD Native Work With Logic
Folks:

I'm curious about HD native but I'm wondering if the drivers work well with other programs like Logic.

This used to be the part of DIGI hardware that drove me nuts.

It would still only use core audio, no differant than with any previous HD hardware

Understood. However, in the past with 002's and MBoxes the drivers were shoddy and not reliable.

Was wondering if that has changed.

I've been using it with Logic since July and it works fine. Unlike with HD TDM systems you get a maximum of 64 I/O with Logic under Core Audio which is the full I/O count of HD Native. This is great for me as I have 2 192s with 24 I/O in total.

I too have been using logic with a 192 and a native card- been really solid.

HD Native is quite a cool baby. But will take its toll in familiarisation and understanding it. I think I am only half way through by now.
