Default select regions in group

i have my drum kit grouped but i need to trim one of the regions, when i go to trim just one region it automatically highlights the whole group for editing, do i have to take that one track out of the group just for a quick edit? thank you *GOOD DAY*

Just deactivate the group in the bottom left and then reactivate.

when I'm doing group editing I use the quick keys to activate de activate groups- SHIFT+APPLE G. This really helps for speed and workflow.

Cheers Jim

While in grouped mode:

Try holding the Ctrl key while you trim. Holding Ctrl should allow you to change the parameter of just one of the grouped tracks (without deactivating the group). This works for moving just one fader of a group in the mix window.

ok i understand how that works in the mix window, but i the edit window to trim one track while holding the control key doesn't work? do i have to have a certain tool selected?

You're right, it doesn't work in the edit window; only in the mix window. Looks like the Shift+apple+G is your best bet.
