Default the \"Toggle Mix and Edit windows\" shortcut won\'t work.

Hi,

I've just bought an Mbox2 along with a brand new MacBook Pro 2.2Ghz, 2Gb ram and an 500Gb external harddrive. I'm quite new to OS X but it kicks ass compared to windows! Now, the only problem i had so far is that i can't get the shortcut "control+equal" (Toggle Mix and Edit windows) to work! Does anyone have a sugestion how to solve this?

Peace
Cal.

On a Mac the Apple key is used where on XP you used Control.

Option = Alt
Control = Start (Win)

Don't know the Danish keyboard layout, but maybe you also need to add another key to this shortcut.

Ok, I found out, yours is similar to the German one.
So, you need Cmd + Shift + 0, as Shift and 0 equal =.
Or you use the = from the numlock section. Then it is Cmd + Fn and the the key labeled with =

If you work with the English layout, just do, what Rail suggested above.

Did this help?

As with most OS X applications, Cmd+` (the little accent guy at the top left of the U.S. keyboard) toggles through open windows in Pro Tools. I find this to be the most convenient way to toggle back and forth between Edit and Mix windows. Just make sure both are open. If either of the Digibase windows are open, they too will be included which is pretty handy.

Thanks a lot guys! pressing "Control (apple button) + shift + 0" worked. (The shift part did the trick;-)
For the first time in 4 years everything just works with my Pro Tools setup. No errors, just pure creativity! Switching to Mac is by far the best thing i've done so far...

Peace.
Cal.
