Hi all, here is an interesting thread at gearslutz talking about the Digi 002 converters and Pres.
The guys name is Ken Walden and he is an ex employee of Digidesign, though he speaks highly of the Digi products.

I own a PRE and..... Use a PRE..... and I really don't think so!

Maybe from the same, or similar parts, but sound..... definitely NO!

No. But, the 002 pre's are based on the same design as the digi pre. "The same" is not equal to "based on the same design".
