Default NVIDIA Quadro graphic cards and PT 10

Pro Tools 10 Qualified Graphics Cards page says NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290 256MB PCIe video card will work in PT 10, among other Quadro series.

I'm trying to get a video card that is compatible with my computer, a Dell Inspiron 560, and Dell lists a NVIDIA Quadro NVS 300 512MB PCIe card.

Will that work?

I think my GeForce 210 is causing PT to stall/freeze.

Default Re: NVIDIA Quadro graphic cards and PT 10

I'm really trying to figure out why my computer keeps stalling and freezing.
Will a Nvidia GeForce 210 card make my computer freeze? I hate to put out more money for a graphics card and find out later that isn't really a big issue

It was an iLok issue. Solved.

Default Re: NVIDIA Quadro graphic cards and PT 10

I had too many unused items plugged into USB. And so I shut off the computer, unplugged the USB devices I don't use (including my old iLok which had nothing on it important anymore) and unplugged the iLok 2 (which I just bought) and plugged it into a slot in the back of the computer this time (it was in the front). When I powered the computer back up, for some reason the iLok 2 needed the driver reinstalled. ?? Now it works fine everytime I use it.
