Intermittent audio \"spikes\" when starting playback
Not sure if "audio spikes" would be the correct term to use but once in a while, when starting playback in ProTools, the sound just gets REALLY loud and overloads my studio monitors. I noticed that it's low frequency sounds (bass, kick) that get "boosted" like this. There's a sudden boost in gain in low frequencies. When this happens, I immediately stop playback and when I resume playback, it's all fine! Is anybody else experiencing this issue? I have an MBox and am running PT 6.9.2 on Mac OS 10.4.1 My computer is a 2Ghz DP G5 (early 2005 version)
