Best sub-$500 Touch Control Surface?
That is if there is such a thing. I do use Command|8 at work, but I'm looking for a smaller transportable touch-sensitive (mix memory) control surface to use with an MBox system. It'll be mostly for commercial and voiceover production (w/sfx and recorded music) rather than live music.
I messed around with the Tascam US-428, but that was kind of a toy. From what I read here, the Behringer BCF2000's motorized faders don't quite do the trick (although I haven't read anyone using the auto-latch mode). If anyone can set me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it! Thanks.
