Default BFD outputs?

I'm finishing up a fresh song, and have saved my drums to last to record. This way I can bounce a wav of the full, drumless song and start a fresh session with that wav, and only that wav, so I don't have to worry about running out of audio tracks for drums because I'm on PT LE, and so I don't have to worry about CPU power.

In order to really mix the drums properly, I need to be able to record all the mics to separate tracks (BFD All, I believe), but I haven't been able to figure out how to actually set each mic to a separate audio track. The section in the BFD manual about outputs wasn't helpful in explaining this, and I haven't been able to find anything else on the internet clearly explaining. Can someone give me a step-by-step? I'd really appreciate it.

So far this is what I've attempted:
1. Create 1 Aux track and 2 Audio tracks
2. Set input for Aux to BFD All (mono/stereo)
3. Set Output of Aux to Bus(1-2)
4. Set Input of Audio 1 to Bus(1-2)

OR

3. Set Input of Audio 1 to Plug-Ins -- BFD Aux... -- Rooms
4. Set Input of Audio 2 to Plug-Ins -- BFD Aux... -- PZMs <-- Rooms and PZMs are the only two available in the Plug-Ins box... This seems close, but still not the right way to go, as that's only two separate mic settings.

Thanks,
Matt Brown

I am interested in the same thing. I have heard about assigning different mics to different outputs for more individual control. How would I go about doing this? Do I need the full version?

Thanks

Try the template on my How To Page on my website.

My template uses AUX tracks, but to record each to audio tracks, you would just use audio tracks. The only track that is different in my template is the Overheads, which would need to be bussed to an audio track instead.

Thanks so much spk! It took a little extra tweaking on my end to figure out what exactly was different from your BFD session set up and mine, but after figuring out the problem (BFD output mix on mine wasn't configured right), it works great!
