Good news Guy et al......

They reproduced it.... Bug # PT-307393

Im going to watch it so I know when it is fixed. For now you have a few workarounds posted in this thread so please keep me posted if anyone get stuck and cant get around this.

While the bug still exist in on my system (W10|PT Studio 2023.12), I'm not going to complain because it's a bug for a fix trade-off.
Recent versions provide a MIDI fix which makes everything overall stable. I use MIDI more than Clip FX so consider it a fair trade.

FYI 2022.7 has a MIDI bug but no Clip FX bug.

But yes, the Clip FX GUI still freezes when first opened. And the workaround is to minimize or resize the window.
I'm also using only 1 monitor so a 2nd monitor isn't a factor.

Still haven't heard from lesbrunn. Hope you're all right man!

So the latest update 2023.12.1 has the clip fx GUI working as normal for me on Windows 10.
It definitely was not working in 2023.12
Just thought it may help someone.
