Aah! Urgent help needed, 002R problem!!

Hi everyone, this just came out of left field on me.. I'm in the middle of a mix project, it needs to be done by Friday morning at the latest! I turned on my computer just now, it had been off for only a few hours, and the 002 Rack doesn't seem to be initializing right. It doesn't do it's little cycle of lights and clicks like normal, only the mute light is on right now and it doesn't respond. I haven't done ANYTHING new to this computer since I got it running, and it is an audio only PC. Here are the specs:

AMD 64, 939 socket, 1.8 GHZ
MSI K8V Neo system board
1 Gb DDR400 RAM
NVidia Geforce something or other cheap video card
TI Chipset Firewire card (has always worked perfectly with PT)
3x WD 80Gb 7200 drives
002 Rack

Any help is most appreciated, I'm in a bind!

could be the power harness. remove the bottom cover and unplug-replug all the ribbon cable connections. or try another firewire cable as I have had one fail for no apparent reason.

I tried the firewire cables already, as well as using my laptop. no go. i will try the harness in a minute, what does it look like? Just a standard, IDE ribbon cable, or smaller, like a SATA?

if I remember right, its like an IDE ribbon except only 12-16 wires instead of 40. All the connectors are plastic or nylon. Its been 6 months since I reseated mine.
