Default PT9 hanging up after closing and more

Hi,

I've just started using PT9 with RME Fireface 800 and while it works well enough generally I have two big problems with it:

a) PT9 (9.02) hang up when I quit the program (something to do with C visual runtime error or so...). This is not a big deal but it is weird as it happens every time

b) while recording 11 tracks of audio the program stops the take and reports insufficient power to record 11 tracks - now this worries me -

my system is a q6600 quad core, perfectly able to record 28 tracks of audio in Cubase 6 without a hickup (even at 64 samples buffer size). I tried 512 buffer size to make it work in PT9 but to no avail.

An ideas?

Thanks,

Klemen
