Re: Poll: Your favorite piece of gear
Under the Best Bang for your Buck heading I would add the ART Tube Amp MP for $99. It makes my dynamic mics sound warm, it gives my rhodes an even sweeter bell tone. A definite must for any digital recording.

Re: Poll: Your favorite piece of gear
Can't live without my pod and bass pod. Makes it so much easier to track live guitar bass and drums all at the same time.

Re: Poll: Your favorite piece of gear
Mesa boogie studio pre amp: It cost less then my pod. It has the santana tone. It has the metallica tone. It cannot sound bad, just not possible unless its broken or the tubes wear out. I heard pete Townsend has like 20 of them or some **** .

Re: Poll: Your favorite piece of gear
Here's just a few toys
1. Art Tube MP (great little di for bass and more) 2. POD guitar 3. Marshall MXL 1006 mic, ( don't let the cheap price fool you I've actually gotten some sweet sounds out of it) 4. Audio Technica 4033 mic (this mic is my new favorite, It sounds fantastic) 5. Any Waves or Bombfactory plug-ins!!!! 6. Last but not least my trusty Cry Baby Wah, at $69 bucks you should get one for just rhythmic layering. Don't even bother with the fancy more expensive ones, this is the one to get. Awesome bass to treble range. Funk it up!!!! I'll shut up now!!!!! Happy Recording And the Digi 001 smokes all other systems I've used!!!!!
