Best Low Res Quicktime Format

looking for the best low res quicktime format for uploading on FTP. I would like something that is small but doesn't tax protools/logic. I am not super concerned with high quality due to this not being played for clients...
I hear that certain codecs are more taxing and thus not really snappy when working with protools.. I am sending this stuff for a logic pro/protools user.

So logic and apple compatibility is key!

any ideas duc dudes?

I get stuff in Motion JPEG A all the time and it seems to play well with ProTools.

I also get stuff in H.264, in which case I transcode it to either DV or Motion JPEG for use in ProTools.

Over the internet we send H264 512x288 movies (~140MB per 10min) and then like Rick said, convert to DV for use in PT's - should be ok if quality isn't an issue

Just to clarify: Motion Jpeg and DV compress each frame separately, which is why they work well in a high-random-access environment like Pro Tools.

h.264 uses interframe compression and is thus optimized for playing in a forwards direction only.
