I'm not sure if this is an Mbox issue or a PT9 issue. But, as of yesterday, I'm getting an annoying static or crackle noise when I attempt to record vocals into my system.

After unplugging, replugging, switching mics, and a wire trace. I've narrowed down the issue to my XLR input (input 1) on my mbox 2 mini. Could this be my mbox 2 mini showing it's age? Or is it a PT9 bug? Maybe a system issue?

Here are some details on my current system...

Mac Mini with Snow Leopard 10.6.7
2.53 ghz Core 2 Duo
4gb 1067 mhz DDR 3 Ram
Mbox 2 mini
Pro Tools 9.0.2 (? its the latest version)

Try plugging something like an ipod or anything with line level into the line in(2) and see what happens. Could possibly be a clocking thing. Maybe you accidentally changed something. I've somehow managed to get my PF2626 at a different sample rate than what protools was set to and it took me hours to find it haha!!
