Static
I'm not sure if this is an Mbox issue or a PT9 issue. But, as of yesterday, I'm getting an annoying static or crackle noise when I attempt to record vocals into my system.
After unplugging, replugging, switching mics, and a wire trace. I've narrowed down the issue to my XLR input (input 1) on my mbox 2 mini. Could this be my mbox 2 mini showing it's age? Or is it a PT9 bug? Maybe a system issue? Here are some details on my current system... Mac Mini with Snow Leopard 10.6.7 2.53 ghz Core 2 Duo 4gb 1067 mhz DDR 3 Ram Mbox 2 mini Pro Tools 9.0.2 (? its the latest version) You're help is much appreciated. |

Re: Static
Try plugging something like an ipod or anything with line level into the line in(2) and see what happens. Could possibly be a clocking thing. Maybe you accidentally changed something. I've somehow managed to get my PF2626 at a different sample rate than what protools was set to and it took me hours to find it haha!!
