Default How to Search the DUC

Just to cut down on repetative postings on the same topic, I'll give the basics of using the search feature.

I'll start off saying this; It can be irritating, but once you get it, it'll work.

Click on "Search", then select the info.

Choose the "Forum or Category" to search, then enter in a keyword. If you do a search from right there, you may not get any results. Go back to the search page, then adjust the "Search Options" and/or the "Date Range" menus accordingly, then try again.

It took me a few tries to figure this out. I do this to keep clutter down and to keep anyone from getting irritated about someone new to the forum posting a question (example: threads on 10.3.3).

I suggest using the search and going as far back as reasonably possible in the archives before you post a question.

Default Re: How to Search the DUC

My only problem is when I get the thread I need and select a specific post, when finished if I use the back button on my browser it often takes me to the Digi main page.

That's really annoying, because then you are forced to go back to the DUC and restart your search.

What do you do to avoid this? Sometimes the back button takes me back to the desired search threads, but more often it does what I described. It certainly discourages using the search.
