What exact version of Superior drummer?

Have you taken up this problem with Toontrack customer support? It is likely their bug.

You can also search here for past problem reports, like this one http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=342778.

So i was forced to format my hard drive for a super clean install of pro tools... At this point i've made backs up of my maverick OS (when it was installed), now i'm running Mountain Lion.. which install should i do first PT10 (10.3.7)? or PT11 (11.0.2)?

Did all that reinstalling work out OK? Pro Tools and SD running OK now?

Never assume an upgrade is going to just work. In future make backups and have a recovery plan. Have several image backups of the working system at different points in the past that you can roll back to. Ideally on bootable external drives (which can be removed and stored somewhere safe). Then rolling back to a previous working system is as easy and as quick as rebooting the computer.

Pro Tools 10 and 11 use entirely different internal plugin code here, and not just different AAX-32 and -64 ports but entirely different plugin APIs. SD in Pro Tools 10 uses RTAS and SD in Pro Tools 11 uses AAX-64. I doubt very much this problem in Pro Tools 11 has anything to do with a Pro Tools 10 coinstall. It is possible for a plugins to have a bug and just not trip up one version of Pro Tools but that will trip up another (but the coding bug is still in the plugin) or maybe Pro Tools introduced a bug in this release that somehow trips up an otherwise OK plugin--probably less likely. There certainly have been several bugs in new a Toontrack AAX plugins that folks have been reporting, nothing surprising there for a very new port to AAX.

Everything turned out okay for the most part, both PT10/11 open WITH SD2.0 and latest update from toon track. I've tried saving under mountain lion but because the previous sessions i've recorded were done under maverick (and before updating to 11.1.1 like an idiot) i was using everything perfectly fine. SO i've made backs up now and i'm downloading maverick as we speak so if all fails i'll just reformat my drive (install the backup that has nothing with pro tools related to it) and stick to mountain lion
