CPU usage limit error is making me mad...

Hi everyone.

I've got a MacBook 1.83Ghz with 2Go DDR2 ram and i've bought a mbox2 factory. So I work on protools LE, i've made the updates but an error occur really often : CPU usage overload. Increase H/W buffer size.

I use a 512 or 256 H/W buffer size. but even if I increase it, the error appears. And with 2go of ram I might not have such an error.
I've got the impression that the error comes up each time I touch the touchpad ? huh ? or when I hit the space bar to stop a reccord.

Does anyone got an idea to help me ?

got the mouse in the left port?
Have you trashed the prefs etc.?

ok i'll try those steps, but do I have to do it all ? for example is there a way to know if I got the god pace versions ?
and updating the pace software is it usefull if I don't use the ilok key (I don't use the plugs that need it).

no bugly I don't have a seperate mouse, and i'll try to erease the prefs.

I've noticed that when my guitare pedal (DGstomp) connected in S/PDIF is switched off, this error seems to occur less often, is this logical ?
