Post-Roll keeps de-selecting - What have I pressed by accident?

Every-time I highlight a clip (with 'Link-timeline & edit selection' engaged) , the post-roll function de-selects.

Am I just getting senile & it's always worked in this way,? or have I pressed something by mistake?

That does not happen for me.

In Expanded Transport, the Pre- and Post-roll buttons stay green when I select a clip. When I press spacebar, the transport rolls, including pre-, clip, and also post-.

It does what I would expect, and I definitely have Link Timeline and Edit Selection enabled when doing the above.

Have you tried trashing prefs?

What *exactly* happens? The yellow post roll cursor disappears? or turns white?

How are you selecting the clip. Clicking on with mouse with hand tool/cursor?

Are you using dynamic transport?

Do you have a control surface/transport control connected?

The only way I can get the Post-roll indicator to disable is to switch to Dynamic Transport when not rolling.
Which seems normal.
I can then re-enable Post-roll, select a clip & roll with the green indicator staying enabled.

Unable to repro just by selecting a clip and rolling in both normal and Dynamic transport mode. (Windows 10)

Did you ever figure this out? My PT started doing this tonight and now my workflow is hosed.
Please help.
