DUY spider crashing almost immediately

Hi,

I have been trying the DUY spider synth demo and 2 attempts both lasted approx 1 minute before spinning beachball, and i had to force quit!

Anyone having success with this synth?

G5 2gig dual 3g ram HD3 accel PT6.9cs2 osx 10.3.8

Are DUY are going out of business (?) - I am not sure but I tried to get authorisations for some of my plugs well over a month ago when I upgraded my Mac and no replies - I've given up on them as they seem to have given up on their customers. Shame really.

Be good if Xavi still checks in here if he can confirm what's going on with DUY.

I had the same problem a couple of months ago, no responses to any emails. Digidesign is supposed to be the distributor but DUY is not available in the Digistore anymore either. Maybe Digi can reply here and tell us what's going on with that company.

I must admit i had forgotten i even applied for the demo it was so long back! i remember it took 2-3 weeks to get the analogue bundle demo.

FWIW I just emailed [email protected] a product question today
and got a reply within 4 hours, so somebody is still there.
