midi recording - note durations
When recording tracks using a midi keyboard the notes are not recorded the way I play them. All the durations show up as a 1/32 note. I've had to use the trim tool to lengthen the durations.
The session was open with a template. Audio recordings are fine, it's the tracks like drums, pad and piano which are being generated with the xpand2 plug in. I've been all through the manual looking for clues, but haven't had any luck yet. Any suggestions? |

Re: midi recording - note durations
Check to see if 'Input Quantize' is enabled. 'Event>Event Operations>Input Quantize.
If it is, disable it by unticking this option.

Re: midi recording - note durations
That did it. Thanks a bunch. I never would have been able to find the solution using the reference guide. The description of input quantize is pretty slim.
Thanks again. |
