Default Core Audio and iTunes

Hey all

I am very well versed in the ways of Panther. Perhaps someone could help...

Can I play the sound that would be traveling from iTunes to the built in headphone jack on a G4 through PTLE (001)? Or do I need to get a soundcard and connect its output to an input on the 001?

Thanks
Chris

From your System Preferences pane, under 'Sound', if you select the Mac's output, you'll get iTunes through the headphone jack. Select 'Digi001' and, well, you know....

So I just went to system pref/sound and set the output to digi 001. It is still coming out of the G4's built in speaker. Any idea why? Did I miss a step with CoreAudio or something?

Thanks
Chris

Go through your Core Audio setup in the Mac, make sure the Digi001 is selected.
